This hybrid Japanese style custom Santoku chef's knife has a blade from 3mm 80Cr V2 steel. The surface of the blade has a forced mustard patina, blade length is 165mm, blade width at the heel is 45mm and it's overall length is 295mm. There is one nickel silver spacer in front of the acrylic bolster which has been cast around S/S foil. The handle is made from my first batch of home made hybrid wood, it's stabilised oak burr cast in Alumilite resin dyed white with micro pearl and copper tints, it's held in place with one of my own mosaic pins.
