Three day Damascus chef's knife class

I've just completed my first three day Damascus chef's knife class with a student. On day one Mark made the billet and performed multiple forge welds on it to get his layer count up to 124 layers. The billet was made from 1075 + Cr high carbon tool steel, 15N20 and pure nickel. The blade was also hardened and tempered by the end of the first day.
